Since 2025, Korey has been dramaturging professionally in the Chicago storefront scene. He has experience in the new works process, classics, and contemporary plays.
His dramaturgy practice focuses on helping his director tell a clear, cohesive story and giving actors dramaturgical information that is actionable to helps them color their performance and deepen their understanding of their character. He believe that dramaturgy doesn't stop at table work and should adapt as the show finds itself over time as he's able to support the process.
He won't make his actors packets—he makes websites that utilize new media to give the actors an easy way to connect to the world of the play.
